Justin Wilder is a physical therapist at Engineered Performance by DMOS. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Iowa State University, then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. He is also Dry Needle and RockTape certified.
Justin was inspired to become a physical therapist after seeing firsthand how physical therapy allowed a friend to return to his daily life and activities after sustaining a significant injury. He loves that his work gives him the ability to combine his love for fitness with his drive to help others achieve their goals. When working with patients, Justin strives to provide as much communication and education around their injury and treatment as possible so they feel empowered when working to return to their activity or sport. For him, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing the smile on a patient’s face as they walk off the field, knowing he played a small part in getting them back into the game.
Justin is a former Marine and lives with his wife, Nikki, and their two cats, Piper and Lexi. He loves spending time outdoors, fishing, boating, paddleboarding, and building things in his workshop.
