Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC)
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
Joey Glenn is the founder and Director of Sports Performance and Rehab at Engineered Performance by DMOS. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa, then went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Joey was inspired to start Engineered Performance through his personal experience as a high school wrestler. As a young athlete with limited access to sports performance information, he was desperate for a professional coach to help train him to perform the way he wanted to. His experiences with inadequate physical therapy after injury drove him to develop a better way to integrate athletic injury rehab and sports performance coaching. After pursuing education and experiences in both Iowa and California, where he gained experience working with elite professional athletes, he founded Engineered Performance to provide high school athletes with a model that was previously reserved for the professionals. Joey believes in keeping care athlete-centric and meeting athletes wherever they are to help build a clear path to achieving their goals. For him, the most rewarding part of his work is watching athletes grow confident in their ability to handle hard things and return to the sport they love.
Outside of work, Joey loves spending time with his wife, three kids, and their golden retriever, Charlie. He can often be found golfing, watching his kids play sports, traveling to see friends and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
